Environmental protection agencies across the globe warn that indoor air can be many times more polluted than the air outside, this is hard to believe because most of are assured of the fact that being indoors means we are cocooned from the dust and air pollution outside our homes, but the EPA in the US ranks indoor air contamination as one of the top five environmental risks to public health. The reason is simply because homes and workplaces are constantly bombarded by airborne pollutants from outside as well as by house dust, pollen, tobacco smoke, chemicals from household cleaners and gases produced by synthetic building materials.
