Baisakhi is such a joyous festival and Pride Plaza Hotel decided to make it extra special with their “Baisakhi-da-tadka”. In the midst of Punjab pind (or village) the lavish buffet was served. Chef Shailender SIngh gave punjabi food his own twist. The flavors are authentic and true to their origin.

My personal favorite was the Namkeen Chaas and Dal Makhani. The Namkeen Chaas had beautiful green chilly pieces, which just gave the necessary spiciness to food. Light and airy, it is highly refreshing in the scorching Delhi heat. The dal makhani had beautiful layers of complex flavors. It was heavy but complimented my Garlic Naan really well.
