So I have been missing from writing the blog as I was catching up on a few travel assignments. Three matches have gone by and my rank has remained constant 70k mark. I am predicting that it will start riding from the 3rd week onwards as substitutions will begin to run out. Let me tell me what you have been missing.
Missing in action: Steve Smith
Another reminder to everyone that you need to wait for the team sheets at least 15 mins before the match before locking up your team. Two days ago, I was surprised as Steve Smith had developed a stomach bug and didn’t take the field. On my defence, I was traveling in the mountains and had to get in my subs while the network still existed.
Will Delhi Daredevils come back?
My favorite team Delhi Daredevils just steamrolled over the Rising Pune Supergiant in a masterful display of batting by Sanju Samson. I still have to learn how people predict who is going to play a mighty innings and who isn’t.
The curious case of missing players
One of the biggest problems that I face is that I replace players after a bad performance only for them to perform pretty well later. I also need to change a few non performers like Yuzvendra Chahal and Tymal Mills. I have been working so long on him without him giving any tangible results. I think it is time for me to switch them for the Afghan newbie, Rashid Khan.
