I just do not seem to be learning from my mistakes. So yesterday, I had told you about how to use the Uncapped players to your advantage. Well, I could not take any advantage out of last night. I though that Day 2 of the Indian Premier League was going to be a double header. But instead, I discovered at 4PM that it was only a single match featuring Mumbai Indians and Rising Pune Supergiant. My mistake is that I did not exchange my uncapped player Ishan Kishan for a player of the above two teams. Nitish Rana would have been a good option indeed.
Another one
I had already wasted a single substitution yesterday by replacing Malinga with Bumrah. So, I decided to make only one change in my team today. My second mistake of the night before gets truly highlighted as I hadn’t checked upon the team sheets beforehand and Malinga was still playing for Sri Lanka in Mashrafe Mortaza’s last T20 match for Bangladesh. Although I did check out the team sheets at around 7PM, I got around to making the changes.
Bowling mistakes
One of the biggest mistakes I made was keeping Ashok Dinda in the team and Kieron Pollard in the team. Both got carted around for a hell lot of runs in the last few overs.
Am I making another mistake?
I have exchanged Gabbar, Shikhar Dhawan for Suresh Raina. It is with hope that being the captain of the team, Raina plays a stellar innings and lifts my team long with it too. I am currently languishing at 79,215 rank with 563 points. My hopes are to stay put in this game this year around so that good luck comes to me and I can end up with a higher rank.
