Yauatcha the Michelin star Chinese dimsum and tea house from London opened its doors for Indian markets a couple of years back in Mumbai, Bengaluru and New Delhi. Yauatcha has certainly made a reputation of serving authentic Chinese cuisine with the best quality ingredients, combined with sublime hospitality. The New Delhi outlet is located in a corner of the second level of Ambience mall, Vasant kunj. Yauatcha’s identity has always been of a restaurant that provides a contemporary twist to the Cantonese cuisine with a huge focus on their Dim Sums. These small plates of flavourful explosion will leave a long lasting impression on you.
Food Talks
Yauatcha already has a stellar menu that offers a wide variety of delicacies to choose from, and the new menu has taken all the deliciousness to a whole new level. The meal started with their set menu which is priced economically at 1074/-++ per person. Some of the new dim sums featured in their set menu menu are the Mandarin Dumplings, Spicy Pork Wonton in Szechuan Sauce, Spicy Har Gau and more. But that is not all: the menu will also consist of wok dishes like Stir fry French beans, Szechuan vegetable tofu claypot, spicy mahlak chicken and steamed riversole in blackbean sauce. The addition to the menu is spicy mix vegetable salad and vegetable hot and sour soup with mushrooms.
Accompany your meal with a Lalu, a sweet vodka based concoction with a strong muddled flavour of litchis and lemongrass. End the journey on a sweet note with the signature desserts at Yauatcha. My favourite being the chocolate hazelnut mousse. Authentic Chinese food is hard to find in a city full of flashy cafes and bars, if you are lover of this cuisine then do visit Yauatcha between 15th Octobor 2016 to 30 November 2016 and be assured to have a culinary experience worth trying.
