FOOD TALKS
We started with the Grilled German sausage platter that had an assortment of Nurnberg Bratwurst, Krakauer, Weisswurst , Weiner & Knaxx. All were obviously different than each other & had their own distinct flavours & tastes. Following it was the 7 Degree Brauhaus vegetarian platter which consisted of breaded mushrooms, potato cheese shots, mozeralla sticks, kraut balls and vegetable cheese puffs. Crispy and baked parmesan garlic breaded mushrooms were indeed a delight to the taste buds. Potato cheese shots are a flavoursome union of potatoes, cheese and herbs seasoning, coated in crunchy breadcrumbs. Mozeralla sticks and vegetable cheese puffs complimented our drinks really well.
Further, we tried the Mezze Platter. The falafel balls were moist and it tasted equally good with the dips (hummus, babaganoush and tzatziki). The pita bread was fluffy and warm which gave us the hint of it’s freshness. We were offered the beer sampler consisting of their four in house freshly brewed beers. The offerings consisted of Lager, 7• special , Dark and brewmasters special. Out of the four, I personally enjoyed the 7• special beer it was very smooth, chilled, not bitter like the bottled ones & had nice mild flavour. My co blogger noticed a section called ‘beer cocktails’ & he went in for a Brauhaus’s mojito. It turned out to be an interesting one. It was made of lager & I guess it would have been better if made with the 7• degree special Beer.
In a nutshell, A great place to spend an evening with family where music and beer are the key drivers. The beer at Brauhaus is amazing, very consistent in taste, the Snacks especially the sausages are amazing ahh not to forget the Mezze Platter. Brauhaus also sells cigars which make the evening even more blissful.
