Father’s Day is around the corner (19th June i.e. this Sunday) and my phone is buzzing with regulars asking how to surprise both their “Father” and “Father-in-law”. In this blog, I’ll be covering some easy DIY’s and for the “lazy squad”, some innovative gifting options.
#1 Breakfast in Bed
Everyone loves to be pampered and nothing speaks more of pampering- when its a cooked meal from your loved ones. Cooking breakfast is easy, so it is the best time to show your love and culinary skills both. If you are a total “lets not cook” person, you can try these healthy granola recipes, they are super easy to make and are perfect for a hot summer morning. Moreover they are quiet healthy, so it goes well for “diabetic dads”, “cholesterol high/low dads” etc (:p). You can switch the granola to Kelloggs wheat flakes, they taste really yumm. #2 Book a SPA
Nothing speaks more of relaxation than a spa. Book it for your dad or even better- book it for both you and your dad, and have a relaxing day at SPA.
#3 Photo Collage
For those who don’t want to spend a penny or put an effort on the gift, the easiest is a photo montage or collage. Upload either of them and make them in minutes with apps like PicCollage or InstaCollage. They are super easy and super effective, team it up with a quotes (you can click here for some options) and voila! you have a super-effective gift ready in minutes.
For those who want a much grander version of the collage, there are professionals in the industry who are customizing gifts with pictures- be it a bedsheet or lamp or cards or hampers- they customize it all. To order, click here.
#4 Leather products or day-to-day use products
We all know how much men love leather products like wallets, briefcase, belts etc. Invest in good quality products and surprise your dad. You can even buy gift cards from places like Shopper Stop and let him buy whatever he want. There is a company called The Man Company, a friend recently ordered some products from there, the products were super affordable and they came in this really cute box packaging. They have some quiet interesting options to be purchased from!
#5 Liquor
All dads love to drink! Infact most of us would have had our first glass with our dads only, so why not recreate the memory by gifting a case of his favorite liquor and sharing a glass with him. If you are looking for some creative options, few professionals in the industry are doing quiet creative liquor bouquets, to order, click here.
Let me know your thoughts on these ideas. If you have any more easy ideas which could be executed in this small time frame (father’s day is this Sunday i.e. 19th June), feel free to add in the comment section. If you execute any of the ideas mentioned here, please do send me the pics, would love to feature them on my next blog. Till then much love! xoxo
