To celebrate Delh’s eternal love for Oriental  cuisine, Level -2, the multi cuisine restaurant at Radisson Blu Paschim Vihar, relives the heydays of China Town cuisine in Delhi — delicacies that have now  grown to be more popular anong the masses .The 17 days food fiesta starting from November 21st  until December 7th  — Down Memory Lane — fondly recollects and promises exquisite Mandarin or Hakka, Cantonese, Thai and Japanese  delicacies  to treat city gastronomes.image

The crispy lamb in tamarind sauce does a better job at impressing you with the different varieties of flavours of the lamb combining in a perfect synchronisation with the sour tamarind sauce and bit of signature spices from chef’s kitchen. The Crunchy Munchy Vegetarian Rolls have a crispy outer texture with glass noodles and vegetables inside. Combine it with the sweet Thai chilli sauce to give you that additional kick. But it’s their Crispy fried prawns that take your breath away. Crispy, spicy and succulent. It makes up  for an alluring diversity  of flavours and textures on your palate.
The Thai green curry with jasmine rice stands out to be the main highlight of  our meal. The curry was aromatic. The backbone of a green curry paste is, of course, the chillies, which give it its colour. I could taste all my favourite elements like lemon-grass, kaffir lime, galangal, and coconut milk. Jasmine rice was fragrant too. Curry wasn’t too green and vibrant in colour, which meant that it did not have any artificial colour.
The guests can also indulge into the sweeter side as the chefs promise to serve delicate flavours of specially crafted desserts to relish their taste buds. The festival is on daily from 7:30p.m. To 11:00p.m, till December 7. Price: (dinner buffet) Rs.1600 plus taxes per head.
