In keeping with our tradition of offering engaging guest experiences; we are pleased to partner with Newby tea in order to present ‘Tea tasting sessions’, this July.
The incessant rainfall during the monsoon season is the perfect setting for hot cups of tea and delightful conversations, giving us reason to invite a tea expert from Newby teas who will share the nuances, brewing techniques and other tips.
Come solo or with friends to spend a lovely afternoon relishing a wonderful selection of macarons, raisin scones, palmiers, brownies and blondies, mini puffs and quiches, selection of cupcakes and more from our award winning Patisserie.

III) The Chef’s collarwith our Italian master chef Vincenzo at Travertino!
Chef Vincenzo has gained many admirers over the last few months both for his new menu and for his interactive cooking sessions.
In keeping with the spirit of engaging afternoons, we are pleased to introduce The Chef’s collar at Travertino– a unique culinary program which offers participants the rare opportunity to enter our kitchen and learn the art of Italian cooking from our chef de cuisine.
The sessions will be as follows :-
· 18th July: ‘Seasonal soups and salads’: learn hearty and healthy soup and salad recipes
· 15th August : ‘ Pasta Please’: will cover fresh pastas and filled pastas with three different sauces
· 19 September: ‘Say Cheese’: discover the chefs secret cheese preparations with salads, pasta and desserts
· 17th October: ‘Very Grainy’: learn secrets of rice and grain preparations including risotto,quinoa, barley and more

Chef Hu has had a very diverse career spanning over a decade in top restaurants in Beijing. Popularly known as the Dimsum King, Chef Hu, is a master at innovation and can make over 300 varieties of dim sums. Always keen to extend his repertoire, the chef is also a skilled master of handpulled noodles!
