bustling bar culture is the hallmark of any sophisticated city. In Delhi, things have changed so much that not only are weekends designated for partying but every evening could well be a Saturday.
Located at the everybusy Greater Kailash -2 , M-Block market this restaurant is brainchild of young , dynamic and enthusiastic restaurateur Mr Shroom Budhiraja with sheer desire to revive and modernize the restaurant/Lounge culture in Delhi, Fusion lounge is a conceptual restaurant which is having a focus on serving high quality of food with generous quantity and yes the taste matters a lot to them as well.
When I asked the management about the reason behind their idea of being a successful brand they told me that It is due to freedom which is solely relying upon the Chef. A simple line which means a lot.
Decor : A typical restaurant and lounge for outgoing fun bees like me.It is smartly divided into three floors the Basement, ground level and first floor. The capactiy is almost 200 pax. The basement has a very earthy feel and yet having the elements of royal India and Medieval Arab culture which can make your sheeshah experience much more realistic. The next is ground floor which is more of a bar with wooden flooring, elegant furnishing and an automated tab menu fot ordering food and drinks. The first floor is a typical lounge that can accommodate additional 20 pax or so.
Food talks
The journey started with their Crispy Bruschetta platter which had four variants with tomato, pickled olive , mushroom and pesto.
Next to follow was their Non veg platter which was an ideal filling platter to compliment some of their classic cocktails such as Cosmopolitan and Long island ice tea. Just to mention that here I’ve had the most booziest LIIT till date which had only booze and no coke.Coming back to the platter It had succulent murg malai tikka and spicy seekh kabab and fish tikka but the main highlight being their signature 3C’s which is all about chicken, chilli and cheese.
To continue the journey further we were greeted with their awesome thin crust pizza which had a perfect sauce. Crispy thin crust base to hold the generous toppings and juicy melting cheese it is just what the doctor ordered.
The mains were more focused on their Indian food , Yes sir they will completly surprise you with this as well. The dal Makhani was creamy and not like your overnight cooked dal makhani but it was very different. The dum biryani had an authentic Smokey flavor and it is an ideal earthy dish with raita. Chicken lababdar and Mutton rogan josh is my personal recommendation to my carnivore readers.
In a nutshell to cut the story short My verdict is 4.5/5
