As the Hospitality business is heating up in our city. Sometimes we are in dilemma to describe about a place as every day we encounter so many new and interesting concepts. Same was the case with Ambrosia Bliss Is it a fine-dining restaurant, is it a lounge, is it a bar? Answer to this is that Ambrosia is a complete bouquet offering you all of the above. The flamboyant fine-dining area, the Lounge which is full of glitz and glitter, the laid-back outdoors, the private seating space for your personal gathering – there is something to fit every mood and it works well with everyone.
The first thing that came across as I entered was the enormous space that has been occupied by Ambrosia Bliss. Getting a space like that in a place like Connaught place is a very tedious task. Décor of this place is very classy and elegant and is dominated by shades black, white and gold.
Food Talks
The food and drinks menu is just as expansive with huge amount of choices which are enough to leave anyone spoiled for choice.
1.Indian Non veg platter- Is a complete package consisting of with a variety of four: Kasundi fish tikka, afghani chicken tikka, tandoori chicken tikka and mutton seekh kebab. The platter had a great punch of taste and contrast of flavors.
2.100% GREEN – Is their signature salad and it has a great variety of fresh green veggies such as broccoli , asparagus, spinach with pinenuts and a hint of Siracha and sweet and sour flavors.
3. Indian Veg platter is the veg version of their platter and it had my favourite Galouti- Mushroom galouti and was also accompanied by Paneer tikka and Hara bhara tikka
4. Mezze Platter- So gentleman if you crave for authentic Lebanese food jist like me so you should order this with your eyes closed and believe me sir you won’t be disappointed . Pita and crispy falafel with tangy pickled veg and 3 variants of dips- Hummus, babaganoush and tabbouleh.
Dishes Like Stir fried lemon sole which had a tangy hint of lemon and sweet chilli sauce served with a sole fish cooked to perfection. Mutton Roganjosh will keep you asking for more as juicy Mutton with a mild gravy to suit every palate was a great treat to my taste buds.
In a nutshell 4/5 to Ambrosia Bliss. On the whole, the long menu works, simply because the restaurant is visited by the full sweep of demographics, from the adventurous to the extremely conservative.
