1) Dudhsagar Falls

Located in south-east Goa, this beauty is definitely worth a visit. If you’re staying in North Goa or even in the South, you will have a beautiful long drive to the Dudhsagar falls station from where you pay Rs. 400 and take a jeep that will take you through the hilly region. Life jackets are compulsory and are available at the station. The jeep will take about 45 minutes to reach a point from where you will have to trek your way to the waterfalls. So if you’re looking for some adventure, you will love the trek through slippery rocks and when you reach the waterfalls, all your efforts will be worth it.

2) Chapora Fort

This place became popular after DilChahtaHai was shot here, some years ago. If you want to see the perfect sunset, this is your place. As the fort is located at a height, right next to the beach, it’s windy and the view from the top is just astounding.

3) Morjim Beach

If you’re a lover of food and beauty, you can’t possibly miss this beach. It has the most amazing shacks on its shore so you’ll get amazing food. Coming to the beach, it’s a gray sand beach. The water is much cleaner, and the moment you put your feet into the waters, face the sun, listen to the sound of the waves, let the wind blow you away, you will feel you are far far away from your real life, in some parallel universe. 4) Arambol

Arambol is most popular for its quiet environment, which lets you enjoy its serene beauty in solace with just you and nature’s beauty around. This North Goan beach has long, wide swathes of clean sand and shallow water that’s great for paddling and to the north there lies rocky headland. Another aspect of this beach that separates it from the rest of the beaches is that it does not have electricity, the natural moonlight and oil lamps are used as a source of light to ensure that one stays in direct contact with the natural surroundings.

5) Fort Aguada

This fort is a Portuguese fort with a lighthouse located at Sinquerim Beach. The fort is not intact anymore but some buildings have been preserved and many of them have been converted into prisons. It serves as the largest prison in Goa.

6) Agonda Beach

This is the famous white sand beach of Goa, located in the southern most area of the state. It’s relatively less crowded and most mobile networks don’t work here, so if you’re planning to have a nice, quiet time without the constant beeping of your phone, you might want to visit this beach.
