Shah Rukh Khan is more than just any actor. He is an icon. He is a role model. He is a charmer. With dimples that melt your heart, eyes that make you want to look into them for the rest of your life, voice that touches you deep inside, this man is surely no ordinary entertainer. Out of the many many things we can learn from Shah Rukh Khan and his movies, this article discusses a few.

Not born with a silver spoon, this man has made a mark for himself all over the world solely by his own relentless efforts. He won the heart of almost every Indian girl after his role as ‘Raj Malhotra’ in Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge. Raj became the guy that many of us girls started to look for in every guy we met. I need not say more about this character though. Shah Rukh Khan proved to us that a guy does not need to have 6 packs abs or go shirtless to win the heart of the right girl, the eyes do it all and of course a black leather jacket makes things easier. Cowbells became the symbol of love and ‘Sade punjab de sarson de khet’ started being looked as ‘ DDLJ wale khet’ ever since. Admit it, we have all at least once imagined running towards our loved one just the way Simran and Raj run towards each other. Even though he had performed flawlessly in his previous movies, it was DDLJ that literally defined love for the people.

There was no stopping him after this. Dil Toh Pagal Hai, Veer Zara, KKHH, K3G, Chak De India. The list goes on and the things we can learn from all his movies and his real life story are uncountable.

Shah Rukh with Gauri Khan

He married the first girl he fell in love with. With Gauri’s love and support he continued working hard towards his dreams. Today, when he has everything in his life and despite being the ruler of the hearts of so many girls his love and loyalty towards his wife doesn’t change a bit. He always always believes in putting family and friends first.

We see many people preach about God being one but this man not only preaches but practises the same. Just as he said in the movie my name is Khan ‘is duniya me sirf do tarah ke log hain, ek ache aur ek bure, aur koi antar Nhi hai’ , he celebrates both Diwali and Eid with same zest because he doesn’t differentiate between people on the basis of religion. Also he has taught both his children the Gayatri mantra as well as the holy Quran. What a large hearted man indeed.

Success is not a good teacher, failure makes you humble. — Shah Rukh Khan

Unlike many other actors Shah Rukh Khan doesn’t brag about the amount of charity he does for the needy ones. He is the only Indian to have received an award from UNESCO for his work of charity. SRK firmly believes that an act of goodness becomes meaningless if you give yourself brownie points for it. As if you didn’t do it, someone else might have done it.

Its not just his acting skills but also his wit, humour and intelligence that makes people of all ages go gaga over him when he speaks and performs at tv shows. We see how easily he makes fun of his ownself and shows true sportsman spirit even when he is mocked at. He is called ‘The king’ for a reason.

Yes his qualities like the zest to work hard in life, his constant efforts to make people genuinely happy, his teachings on the right values in life are few of the many reasons why many others envy him, try to pull him down but time and again he has emerged victorious and proved to everyone that he is unstoppable.

We wish you all the very best for FAN our dearest King Khan . You have no idea how much we all love you and look up to you. Your movies and your life story are an inspiration to zillions of people. You are just everything we wish to be.
Go Gaurav!!! Go SRK!! ?
