The Artful Baker is in Vasant Vihar D-block market and we could not be happier. The place is super accessible with loads of parking space. Its a quaint small takeaway bakery with 2 bar stools for dining. Everything here is fresh and all the leftovers gets donated to charity the same day (big thumbsup).
Our Recommendations
- Mushroom Vol Au Vent (veg) – Puff pastry shell filled with creamy potatoes and mushroom with a pinch of black pepper salt. The puff pastry is beautifully done, you can actually taste the butter yet you do not get the oiliness of the same. They have a non-veg version of the same i.e. Chicken Vol Au Vent. Puff pastry filled with chicken, white sauce and harissa.

- Watermelon Juice– For us Delhi summers and watermelon juice goes hand in hand. To beat the Delhi heat nothing is better than a watermelon juice (we believe). What is different about the Artful Baker’s watermelon juice? They use cold press machine to make the same, so it doesn’t have watermelon fiber and you can skip the heaviness a juice generally comes with. Good quantity and went well with the meal.

- Cold Coffee– The Artful Baker takes pride in their cold coffee as their coffee beans are 100% Arabica Beans. So all you coffee lovers, this one is a must on their menu!

- Blueberry Cheese Pastry– Mascarpone cheesecake pastry with biscuit base, topped with blueberry. The cheesecake doesn’t have the heaviness which generally I feel in other cheesecakes. Mascarpone cheese is soft, white Italian cheese and didn’t add the heaviness to the cake yet giving it all the right flavors.

- Monty Cristo Pastry– Pure almond base topped with 53% Belgium and hazelnut crunch. THIS IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED BY THE TEAM! This is one of the best sellers at the Artful Baker and we could not agree more. A must must MUST try. The chocolate is beautiful and you just keep on going in for seconds and thirds.
