Eating out in movies has been an enigma for countless reasons. Gone are the days of wilted popcorn and fizzled out Cola drinks, today’s movie theatres are looking to entice viewers with a gamut of cuisines. PVR movies recently opened up Simply Sushi, a casual Sushi dining place that introduces Delhi to the world of Japadogs. The Japa-Dog combines the best of flavours from America and Japan to create a hot dog laced with flavours from the far East.

But before I dig into the Japa Dogs, I decided to treat myself to a cup of Matcha Green Tea along with some Sushi. The California based Dynamite Roll Sushi combines the sweet crunchy crab with a dollop of spicy mayo that really piques your taste buds. The Avocado Rolls create a creamy texture on the palate but it’s the Japa-Dog I have been waiting for throughout the meal.

8 pieces of Dynamite Rolls cost INR 990

The Japadog at Simply Sushi

My Japa Dog combines a hot dog which is topped with teriyaki flavoured onions and releases a burst of sweet flavours the moment I bite into it.  I also decided to try out the Nigiri which comes out to be top class. You can try out Tuna, Eel, Salmon and White Fish, all of which tastes as authentic as flavours can be in India.

2 pieces of Nigiri cost INR 390

Simply Sushi is available at PVR Director’s Cut, Ambience Mall, Vasant Kunj and Select City Walk, Saket.
