Being a user of Sensodyne products for many years, I was rather excited when I found out that the toothpaste giant in partnership with So Delhi entered into an exciting food walk concept, an experience which involved bloggers, social media influencers and sensodyne users. The main intent of the food walk was to highlight the issue of tooth sensitivity and helping people eat and enjoy their favourite dishes.
Being a food blogger myself, I can relate to the motive and needless to say that I was intrigued.

The idea for the food walk was get actual tooth sensitivity sufferers on board, who had been using the product for a while to go out with us on this incredible food walk and try out their favourite dishes without the fear of teeth sensitivity. The venue for the food walk being the boho chic and foodie hub Hauz Khas Village. Our mission was checking into some amazing eateries that are serving delicious drinks and lip smacking dishes.

Chayoos

There can be no better time or place to write about Chaayos – Winters, Delhi and Chaayos! Can there be a more perfect match?

We started out with HKV’s chai haunt at Chaayos, a place that makes me proud. To think how tall they stand in the face of a Starbucks, and how they have revolutionized and liberated our humble “desi” chai up against the foreign-returned lattes. Appreciation poured forth over the soothing and steaming cup of Kulhad Chai and the best part was that the tooth sensitivity sufferers did not bat an eyelid and happily enjoyed their piping hot tea.

After paying a visit to this quintessential cafe that is serving India’s favorite beverage. We moved towards the second stop of the food walk.

OTB – Out of The Box

Apart from the beautiful Mughal Era Fort and the lake, if Hauz Khas Village is famous for something else then, it is undoubtedly the famous Hauz khas Village market. One of the key players in this market is Cafe Out of the Box. Brainchild of Mr. Priyank Sukhija and Mr. Umang Tewari, this place wears a very lively look and also gives an energetic vibe. The café can accommodate a fairly good gathering and also has an alluring outdoor dining area which gives a picturesque view of the Hauz Khas Lake.

We decided to sink our teeth into the most crumbly of brownies when scooped up with creamy vanilla ice cream made for a thoroughly satisfying mid-morning indulgence. Dipping their spoons into the creamy, chilled ice cream, the happy users of Sensodyne dug into the frigid ice cream immediately, without a worry in their head about any tooth sensitivity. After satisfying our sweet tooth we head to our final destination for the day.

Imperfecto

Our last stop for the day was the chic and quirky Imperfecto in Hauz Khas Village. Slowly but steadily we climbed the stairs and exposed ourselves to an awesome bar and an equally beautiful terrace. We were served tall glassfuls of Imperfecto’s Aam Panna mocktail. Blessedly refreshing, this drink was served ice-cold with fresh mint leaves and soda.
What would otherwise have caused a lot of anxiety for tooth sensitivity users, here, they glugged down their Aam Pannas within seconds without the fear of any sensitivity in their teeth.

At last, it was the time to draw the curtains and wrap on our delightful food walk. We had all praises for this unique food walk and the dishes we tried out during this venture.
