Marine fauna is something that we Indians have never experienced. But once I had checked out the first one at Miami, I was hooked. A trip to Singapore presented me with another opportunity to check out the marine beauties again. The S.E.A Aquarium at Sentosa Island showcased a range of animals right from the disputed South China Sea to the Indian Ocean.

The Overground activities

There are some beautiful animals showing off their antics. The Morning with Dolphins gives you a close insight at the behaviour of the bottlenose dolphins but it’s the seals and otters that will make you fall in love with them. You can also check out the Scuba diving course and learn to dive in the open ocean. It is a feeling that goes beyond exhilarating.

The Underwater Magic

S.E.A Aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa, SingaporeS.E.A Aquarium at Resorts World Sentosa, SingaporeLet me tell you about the wackiest of animals that I saw at the aquarium. A plethora of large rays dominated one enclosure. You can actually stick your head through a dome in the cave to observe them at even closer quarters. These amazing creatures move around in sweeping waves. There was an octopus which lay coiled up in a corner and eyed the camera with quite bemusement. The sea crabs struck a pose you will never ever believe. The looks they carried off will surprise you totally. The Sea Horse and the jellyfish were something that we saw for the first time.

The tickets cost S$34 and you can check out their website here. Do tell us about your experiences at Aquariums in the comments below.
