Almost every time I have paid a visit to my dermatologist, never have I ever; returned without a lecture on the importance of sunscreen.

But, my reluctance to this particular beauty regime has always been a personal choice. No, it’s not because I’m lazy (Really!), but because I have an oily skin and sunscreens generally don’t agree with me.

I was recently invited to the launch of the new, UV plus anti pollution day screen, multi protection SPF 50/PA++++. First and foremost, I was already impressed with the PA++++ printed on the packaging (the perfect defense against ageing damage).

Well, my views about sunscreens just changed after using the product. The texture of the formula is so light-weight and oil free, that it was absorbed into the skin within seconds of application. It blended so well, that there was absolutely no sign of any stickiness.

The formula left me with a nice matte finish and radiance, without the white cast left by most of the other sunscreen solutions.

After being a Clarins fan for a long period of time, this product just made me obsessed with the skincare brand.

Pros

Living in India, we are accustomed to both worshiping the sun and cursing the heat. The SPF 50 formula is definitely a plus against any sunburn.

The solution comes in three shades, neutral for a transparent finish (created for both men and women), pink for a subtle glow and radiance and blue for fairness.

Light weight and suitable for all skin types.

Works as a perfect base for makeup and has anti-ageing properties.

Cons:

It’s not really a con, but it might come across to be a little expensive for some. The little tubes however, will last you a good few months and is worth every penny.

Recommendation:

An awesome sunscreen, suitable for any skin type. Oil free, anti-pollution and enhances complexion.

As each and every element in the solution protects skin from UV rays and pollution, even in extreme city conditions, it’s a must buy!!!
