Packing is a task, but if you are going for a short trip, things get tough. There is so much you need, but feel guilty carrying your entire make-up drawer for a weekend trip! At least I do!

So I thought I’ll divide my needs occasion wise, and see what products can double up!

Day: Sunscreen, BB Cream, Eye liner pencil, Chapstick, Lip gloss, Blush and a mist.

Night: Foundation, Eye shadow, Eye liner (liquid), Lipstick, Blush and a perfume.

Total products required: 13

Number of products packed: 7

Here’s what I packed:

1. Sunscreen, because no one should have to live without it. I use Neutrogena try touch, because it gives me SPF 50 and a matte effect at the same time!

3. Liquid Eye-liner, because it can be easily used both during day and night. I love Lakme Intense Black. The best part about this liner is that it comes off easily, with just water!

4. Chap-stick for day and one bold lip color for evening, which can double up for the day. I am packing Maybelline Baby Lips in Mango Pie, and Avon lipstick in Tangerine Tango. Sometimes, I use the orange lipstick during the day by applying it with my fingers like a balm.

5. Blush palette, it has all colors for day and night. This one is MAC x Lady Gaga Palette 3. I use the lightest tone to add a slight flush to my cheeks, and the darkest for a dramatic effect.

6. Instead of a mist and a perfume, I decided to opt for a light fragrance that will carry me from day to night. This is why I love Passenger, by ST Dupont. Its fragrance is fruity and floral, with woodsy base notes, making it the perfect perfume! unnamed (4)

Bonus: One thing that nobody should leave home without is a dental floss. 🙂 You wouldn’t want to be caught with food in your teeth afterall!
