After having studied in the Western part of India for nearly five years, I have become a big fan of the food from there. So when the all day dining at Shangri-La’s Eros Hotel brought the culinary marvels all along the NH-66.

We started off with quite a few of the starters and the ones that quite caught my eye were the Prawns cooked in a traditional Chettinad style and Paneer tempered with crisp rice. There’s also a Koliwada styled Chicken that’s spicy and can be combined with the sweet Banana Dosas on offer.

For the mains, there’s Kottayam Fish Curry, Pork Vindaloo and the quintessential Crabs made in a traditional Manglorean style all of which can be swept up with decadent Appams. To accompany you on this sojourn, there’s some sweet Coconut Water to complement all the spicy Western Ghats flavours.
