Everytime Mr Priyank Sukhija launches his new restaurant, expectations go beyond surreal. The newly introduced member of the Lazeez Affaire family is “Lord Of The Drinks Forum”. This fancy bar and restaurant is said to occupy a space of 18000 sq feet and even boasts of a microbrewery. Team Salt and Sandals visited Lord of the Drinks Forum to present to you five reasons why you should not give this place a miss.

Five reasons to visit Lord Of The Drinks Forum

1. Priyank Sukhijaimage

Talking of the food and nightlife in Delhi/NCR and not mentioning Mr. Priyank Sukhija is bit unfair. There is no locality and league in Delhi’s food & nightlife scene that is left untouched by him. Priyank Sukhija has changed the way people dine and drink in the heart of the capital with his mega establishments like Warehouse Cafe, Townhouse Cafe and the recent talk of the town Teddy Boy and Tamasha. He is back with his another establishment which also happens to be one of his ambitious project called Lord of the drinks forum .

2. Location

The scene of partying out in the nights has been changing over the last few years. The nightclubs and discotheques had given away to restaurants, especially the ones located near the Hauz Khas Fort. With the advent of Hauz Khas came it’s own set of problems. Long jams along with rowdy behavior became commonplace due to the burgeoning crowds. The next lifesaver in Delhi’s nightlife is Nehru Place. It is the major reason why placxes such Epicuria are becoming the new hotspots in town.

3. Decor

Coming to the interiors, they have quite a big bar, beautiful dim yellow/ orange lights and a large glass window which lets the sun sparkle in. It’s L in shape, they have an option of both, Sofa’s and tables and chairs. The sitting is comfortable and the ambiance is delightful.

4. Foodimage

The menu at Nehru Place is different from the one at Connaught Place; and the items on the menu have been curated with excellent innovation. From Waffle Bruschetta which has mellow mushrooms topped with goat cheese on a soft waffle to lip smacking variety of Bao’s and all the time classic Mezze Platter stole the show for us.

5. Cocktails/ Mocktailsimage

From Classic Old Fashioned to all time favourite Martini’s. The place serves a wide array of cocktails. Innovation is the key here as well they have introduced Lord’s Chuski Bar with flavours like Rum & Chocolate, Margarita & berries and Vodka & Rose.
Lords of the Drinks Forum has potential to be an Epicuria favourite. There is nothing that we disliked here, and it is rather efficient how they deal with people on crowded days and manage to not have you wait for so long.
