Pan Asian food seems to be the new myntra for Delhi’s kitty club. Every Pan Asian restaurant I have frequented over the last few months, they have been filled to capacity even during weekday lunches. One of the earliest on the scenes was the Kylin Thai House located in the now upmarket GK 1 N Block market. But it has undergone a refurbishment to be attuned to their customers and is now known as the Kylin Experience. One of the most essential reasons that this Pan Asian restaurant stands in ever growing number in South Delhi is the organic menu.

Sushi and Dim Sum form the backbone of any Pan Asian restaurant and the Kylin Express gets it spot on. Be it the crunchy Asparagus Tempura Roll or the Prawn California Roll along with Dragon Roll, the flavours and textures explode upon the palate. The Dim Sum also does justice to the menu. We recommend the Chicken Kothe and Spicy Chicken Wonton in Chili Oil.

One of the recent additions to the menu are the Signature Bowl meals. They usually have a plethora of flavours and satisfy the tummy petty well too. We tried out the Kirin Bowl and the Krabi bowl. With the sweet and spicy of the Sriracha impressed us , the second bowl also made some dents on the palate.

Getting to eat pork is one of the most divine parts of being a food blogger and pork belly, don’t even ask me. So when I had the chance to try out the Pork Belly Bao, I wasn’t gonna refuse. The soft buns held true to their promise and delivered a soft, sweet combo on my palate. It was interrupted by some crunchy Asian greens but that is what makes this dish so endearing to me.

Although I am not a big fan, I also had a go at the new organic menu. We tried out the Farmer’s Market Quinoa Salad which gives out flavours of the fresh organic vegetables with all the goodness of quinoa and truly surprised me. Organic food does taste good. The Kylin Experience at GK 1 N Block Market is one place you should definitely come if you’re in the South Delhi vicinity. Not only is the market pretty laid back, the food here is totally scrumptious.
