New Stuff doesn’t really have the character. Its the rust, the chipped paint and the history makes for a story. This story is about Kru Kung Museum which is one of the best places to visit in Thailand.

Why is Kru Kung Museum one of the best places to visit in Thailand?

One such story is that of Master Kung, a 65-year-old man who loves to collect old treasures with a passion to freeze the past in his small little house. In the age of technological revolution and people running after the new and advanced, it was surreal to meet a man like Krung, who has been collecting since the age of 18. In 2016, he turned his house of antiques into a museum to showcase his passion to freeze the past with the public.

The Krung museum exhibits a large collection of vintage products and is attractively set in an old teak house, divided into different spaces and rooms that mimic a traditional Thai town. The collection of antiques are some of the most sublime, strange collection from the past you can imagine. It gives visitors like us a wonderful insight into the Thailands diverse culture and its unique heritage. One can check out these collections of vintage products in the form of vintage vehicles, kitchen appliances from the 60’s, a convenience store, a barber shop, some very old posters, coins, electronics from the era, even an old cinema and many more. Krung’s collection spans all periods of Thai History into different sections for our convenience to understand their culture from up close. This cute little house museum is a fun place to spend an afternoon while reminiscing about the good old days.
