Authentic Thai cuisine is not widely available in Delhi because it takes good expertise, discipline and skills to carefully prepare a perfectly balanced meal. It is not just about the presentation which has to be colorful, but also about the chemistry of texture, taste, flavours and medicinal benefits. The chefs at Thai High have mastered the art of making Thai food and please their customers with all the perfection!

Thai High deserves full points for the atmosphere which is really unique. The seating on terrace will give a lovely view of Qutub Minar and hectares of area stretched around it. Lush greenery, cool breeze and amazing scenic beauty will make it hard to believe that you are in Delhi. The orange theme and décor of the restaurant was really peaceful which is the only word that can describe the ambiance best.

We tried Som Tam , which is a raw papaya salad. The colourful texture, rawness of juicy ingredients, along with crunchiness of peanuts, made it an excellent start. This salad is served within ten minutes else it is discarded. It was indeed the most fulfilling salad we have ever tried. Tom Yam, which is like spicy and sour soup had excellent flavour and aroma of lemon grass and kaffir leaves. Yam Phak Krob, a fusion of spicy crispy vegetables, marinated in tangy sauce, made some love with the taste buds and convinced them to keep on trying more of Thai cuisine. After the initial meals, we were all set for the delightful experience that the main course provided. To clear up the palate, jasmine tea was served, whose presentation was noticeably lovely. In drinks, don’t forget to try basil mojito, which had a distinctive flavour, thanks to the basil they grow themselves. Chicken lovers will love perfectly cooked chicken whose taste was consistent throughout. The flavours were infused till the deepest part of it because it was marinated so well!

Haew Phad Phirik Thai Dum (Water chestnuts in black pepper sauce) were pretty juicy, yet sharpness of spices was really effective in balancing it out. The flavours that exploded in the mouth during the bites were an amazing kick to the mood. Kiew Waan, the green curry was definitely on the list. It had that soft sweetness and smooth texture gifted by the coconut milk and vegetables submersed into it with so much simplicity. It’s creamy and divine taste blended perfectly with non-oily rice. I ended up my meals with blueberry cheese cake which was not over sweet but was very light.

The overall experience can be simply summarized into two words: Delightful and peaceful.
