One of the most popular food joints in the cyber hub is undoubtedly Indigo Delicatessen. It loved by foodies for its true-blue international menu. And though it keeps reinventing its set of choices and new additions, the taste is always something that suits my palate, no matter what. And that’s the reason I visit the restaurant whenever I’m in the mood for some experimental food.

The ambience of the place is something that makes me feel comfortable and cozy, unlike the five-star set ups, which mostly exude fine-dining atmosphere. In contrast, the restaurant’s bare walls, stonework floors, effortless and classic teak wood furnishings, rightly blended with hints of colour, are pleasing enough to make one seated for hours, drooling over their yummy food and lenghthening leisurely conversations.

Food Talks at Indigo Delicatessen

We have a go at their Classic Chicken Ceaser Salad (₹385). You won’t feel that Caesar salad was a waste of money. Full of healthy ingredients accompanied by creamy sauces will make you feel fresh yet fulfilled. Next on my plate was the creamy chicken salad sandwich (₹425) which was grilled perfection and had a generous filling of roasted pineapples, lettuce, pepper and 1,000- island dressing. The things that really sit out on the menu is the creamy Eggs Benedict (₹345) that rocks you back with flavour. The falafel wrap (₹425) being only dish that was inconsistent with flavour. It lacked adequate moisture and the end result was not close to the expectations.

The desserts acts as an icing on the cake and brings your food journey to an end on a sweet note. Must tries includes their home-made ice creams. Mocha and Caramelised Banana, Belgian Chocolate Truffle, White Chocolate and Cherry, Dulce De Leche and Roasted Hazelnut are the must tries. In a nutshell, Indigo delicatessen is another feather in Gurgaon’s food hat that provides easy access to deli-style comfort food and a mouth watering hole in the Hub, that doubles up as an entertainment venue. Most importantly, it means that Cyber Hub is slowly becoming every foodie’s dream.
