An Asian restaurant that holds it’s own in Faridabad is special indeed. With a majority of clientele forcing the chefs to adopt the bastardized forms of Pan Asian, Executive Chef Avanish Jain at Radisson Blu Faridabad holds true with authentic flavors. With it’s soothing décor, House of Soy tops as a perfect place to play host to a date or a business meeting. We try out the Chef’s specials menu which is going to be available for lunch and dinner.

What we had at the House of Soy

The starters include a Fish in sticky Thai sauce along with a crispy lamb dish with the perfect balance of sweet and sour with a crispy texture of the lamb. The Chicken and Chives dumpling is one of the best dumplings I have tasted. The chili garlic sauce explodes with a beautiful contrast of flavors. The Hot and Sour soup has been one of my favorites since times immemorial and Chef Jain brings out the flavors superbly.

For the mains, we try out Chicken with water chestnuts and it brings out a rendition of chestnuts I have never tried before. One of the reasons that I love Pan Asian flavors is the use of garlic and this is truly exemplified in the Stir Fried Exotic Chinese Greens. We lap these all up with some Vegetarian Fried Rice and Wok Fried Hakka Noodles. The authenticity of the restaurant is typified in the sticky Jasmine Rice that will blow you away with flavors of the curries that accompany it.

We end off with some of my favorite desserts. There is a fresh Tub Tim Krob along with a Date Pancake. But Chef Jain makes me taste his Coconut Jaggery Ice Cream whose sweetness put a perfect end to the meal. House of Soy at Radisson Blu, Faridabad is one of the best places to find Pan Asian in Delhi NCR.
