Delhi has been the home of Delhi Half Marathon since the last 10 years. But on 18th April, a marathon of another kind took place at DLF Place, Saket. A marathon worthy of every foodie’s dream, it was an intense rush as participants chomped their way through a mountain of food, stretching their bellies, fighting their minds as four of DLF Place, Saket’s finest restaurants showcased their best. Even Adam Richman would have been proud of the amounts of food that was guzzled that day.
We started off the madness at Chilis. Spicy Chicken Wings and tangy zingy Quesadillas were the order of the day as Margaritas flowed like water.
The Caravan then moved onto Mahabelly where some authentic Kerala cuisine awaited them. An inpressive mutton biryani and a taste bud sizzling beef fry awaited our foodies amongst other things.
Post drinks and course one, the foodies moved on to Hard Rock Café with tips from behind the bar and a mixology master class by their bartenders. This leg of the run saw guests making everything from an LIIT to a smoothie.
Finally things finished on a sweet note with desserts and coffee at Café Delhi Heights as our brave and full participants gobbled down some delectably prepared Tiramisus, Eclairs and Cappucinos.
So guys…. Are we ready for round 2??
