My experience

I tried Pier 38, Soi7 and Bombakery, I am going to talk about the dishes which won my heart and are highly recommended by me.

Soi7 is known for its freshly brewed beer and I always recommend Soi7 for its beers. Yum Ma Maung is a raw mango salad and I tried it for the first time. Its a Thailand specialty and I could not stop myself from going on to seconds-thirds. Love love love this salad!

Yum Ma Maung

At Pier 38, I absolutely loved their “Hammer” from their signature cocktails menu. Made from beefeater gin, lemon grass and lime juice, this drink made me really happy (if you know what I mean :p). Really strong with some nice refreshing flavors, this drink is a must for all Gin drinkers. I ordered their “chakna platter” which went beautifully with my drink. It had masal papad, masala peanuts, jhal muri and chirwa. I absolutely love such food with my drinks. I even ordered their palak patta chaat, which I quiet enjoyed. Crispy spinach fritters served with curd and bhujiya. Absolutely delicious!

In food, I’ll recommend their turkish pizza or pide. The chef has nailed the recipe and it has some really good flavors. I tried their Turkish Pizza and it was simply yummy-in-my-tummy. Another dish that I always recommend to try here is their Nutella Cigar Rolls. This dish actually needs no description, it is a must here and one must never leave Pier 38 without trying this!

For the Sweet Tooth

Post Pier 38, I went to eat some brownies at Bombakery and their brownies are little pieces of heaven. I have been always a big fan of Bombakery’s desserts but what really won my heart were their Cheese sticks. Served in a gourmet jar, these cheese sticks were absolutely delicious!

For the sweet tooth!

These are my top picks, feel free to tell me about your favorite picks from the 809 fest!
