Cafeteria and Co is located in the bustling street of Vinay Nagar , a very popular destination among the locales and mostly the students in North Campus of Delhi University to enjoy lip smacking food at very reasonable price. Cafeteria & co is a true representation of The Hudson Lane which is undoubtedly the mecca of cafes and youth vibrancy, leaves no stones unturned to amaze you with its raw, appealing and colourful interiors.
Food Talks
We started with some of their signature shakes. The banana shake was divine as it had sweetness with a little amount of tanginess in it. The Tiramisu shake which obviously lacked the authentic taste of this signature Italian dessert. Paneer Tikka Spring Roll (INR 139) is a fusion appetiser. The dish has soft shredded chunks of paneer tikka which provides it a smokey flavour. Falafel Sandwiches (INR 149) the shawarma bread was filled with pickled vegetables and loaded with hummus and other dips. This turns out to be the main of the main highlight of our meal at this place. The Veg Quesadilla (INR 119) combines the crunchiness of bell peppers with the earthy taste of beans in a wondrous combination. Some sour yogurt and a spicy sauce just increase the complexity of flavours.
Heading on the mains, we opted for their signature Chicago fries(INR 129). We samples it with cowboy BBQ, Chipotle chilli, Bullet Mayo, Peri- Peri and Garlic Parm dip. Usain Bolt (INR 139) is the name to their cottage cheese steak burger which is marinated in a peri peri sauce. The burger just like its name proves to be the winner in every race. The main highlight for us was their Hexizzas. A beautifully shaped pizza with equally good taste grabbed all the eyes balls at the table.
In a nutshell, this vibrant cafe is indeed quite promising. The mantra is the consistency in their food which lot of joints in GTB Nagar fails to provide. We highly recommend this place to you.
