A bustling little bistro has opened up in Select CITYWALK and we are going bonkers over it. Famished after some retail therapy, I wanted to indulge in soul food; the kind that loves you back in all the right ways. I knew I had hit the right spot when I stumbled upon Andrea’s eatery, a quaint little nook that was as promising as it looked! With quirky interiors and a casual seating arrangement; the place had an easy air about it.

I’ve observed that Select CITYWALK understands consumer needs in a wholesome way. It doesn’t stop at international brands, spas and kiosks; the shopping destination ensures once you walk in, you won’t walk out before you treat yourself to a righteous meal.

The bistro’s concept is unique and vibrant; another one testimony to Andrea Pauro’s ingenuity after Amici. The menu reads like a cultural smorgasbord; a tapestry of delicacies around the world with a fresh approach! Take a look at our personal favourites from Andrea’s selection

What all did we try out?

Andrea's EateryItalian has always been Pauro’s thing- whether rustic pizzas or perfect Al Dente pastas. So we felt it was wise to order the bruschetta here and boy were we right! . The aged Parma ham with a layer of tuna redefined Bruschetta for us, with a hint of Canada in every bite; the lox, cream cheese and dill bruschetta bowled us over.

Andrea's EateryWhat followed was a meaty platter infused with flavours from different regions. The fish cakes borrowed from South East Asia, what with subtle glimpses of fragrant lemongrass and kaffir lime. Finished with a sweet plum sauce, it was fun on the palate, umami and fresh. The shish touk was served with tahini and a surprise element- Aioli! It worked wonderfully well, an unexpected blend we didn’t think was possible.

Andrea's EateryAndrea's EateryThe Super Bowls from South East Asia packs a lot of punch. We tried out the Caramel Pork and Chicken Krapow. The extensively braised pork shoulder is a burst of sweetness against the sour Khimchi. The Chicken Krapow on the other hand is characteristic of South East Asia. Sweet, sour and the heat of chillies all roll into a explosion of flavours on the palate.

We also recommend the crisp artisanal pizzas, Spicy Chicken Sausage and Verde. You can end your meal with a Chocolate and Single Malt flavoured gelato. Andrea’s Eatery is for the free spirited traveller. The food is light and metropolitan. The abundance of natural light streaming into the restaurant makes it a perfect location for a casual lunch on the go. I was in food coma by the time I bid Andrea’s adieu, thank god for CITYWALK’S valet service or rather- thanks Select CITYWALK

All in all; a very good day indeed. Personal satisfaction hit an all- time high, whether the polite security personnel, the happy to help helpdesk staff or the hands-free experience- I’m forever hooked to Select CITYWALK and all that it offers.
